Apple launch 16GB iPhone & 32GB iPod Touch

A few weeks later than many expected, Apple have finally announced a memory upgrade for both the iPhone and iPod Touch.  The iPhone has a new 16GB model join the range, priced at $499, while the iPod Touch line is bolstered

by a 32GB model.  Both are otherwise identical to the previous versions, which remain on sale, and feature the 1.1.3 firmware preinstalled.
