Asus Reveals WiMax Plans


Asus has shed some light on its upcoming WiMax plans. In short: it will include Intel’s WiMAX (that was quick, huh?). Expect a host of demonstrations at Computex that week at the Taipei universal Convention Center (ASUS booth, located at booth no. TF1L & 101B). There are many WiMAX devices coming out. Here’s the list:

ASUS WiMAX Eee PC™ 901: everyone knows that one. We featured a

WiMAX Eee PC at CES, but more products are coming:

  • ASUS WUSB25E2V2: USB WiMAX Dongle with a mirror polished design.
  • ASUS WMV25E1+, ASUS WMNV25E2+, ASUS WEXP25E2V2: WiMAX integrated access device that supply an Net connection via wired Ethernet.
