AudiOdyssey for the Blind

Are video games just for those who can see? Apparently not, as MIT’s Gambit Game Lab is currently working on AudiOdyssey, a title on the Nintendo Wii that will target the visually impaired. Needless to say, that is an audio-based title where you play according to sound, mimicking a DJ who is trying to conjure a catchy beat to keep the crowd moving. The whole concept is to use

the Wiimote, moving it around to get a decent rhythm going thereupon adding on more layers for an aural crescendo. Since the Wii isn’t precisely too common yet, that game is additionally compatible with a regular keyboard.
