Best Buy Gives Gift Cards

With the dust settling after Blu-ray being declared the winner in the most recent “format war”, the HD DVD camp is still trying to find ample land to bury its dead so to speak. There are still tons of HD DVD equipment out there, so what is an owner of Toshiba’s folded outing to do? Best Buy will be offering $50 gift cards to customers who picked up either a HD DVD player or HD DVD attachment from its

U.S. stores before February 22, 2008. that offer is good until the end of March, and word has it that Best Buy’s exercise will see the company throw away more than $10 million worth of gift cards. Well at least the $50 can now go into your Blu-ray fund whether you take up Best Buy on their offer.
