Chip Shot: Intel Xeon atop Newly Released potential Benchmark

An anticipated industry-standard benchmark on ability efficiency from SPEC has been released. SPECpower_ssj2008 fills a gap in the server benchmark lineup as there has been few whether any agreed-upon benchmarks that effectively measure and compare potential efficiency across different server solutions. that new mark has been

developed by a number or organizations including AMD, Dell, Fujitsu Siemens Computers, HP, Intel, IBM, and Sun Microsystems. For more details on SPECpower_ssj2008 visit here and to view the initial set of results, look here (note: higher numbers are better).
