Chip Shot: Tech CEOs, Study Link Innovation with Energy Savings

Today in Washington, D.C., the Technology CEO Council called on policy makers to more aggressively embrace and adopt info technology (IT) to reduce the country’s energy needs. The CEOs, including Intel’s Paul Otellini, cited a study released today by the American Council

for an Energy-Efficient Economy which says applying info Technology (IT) solutions to everything from traffic management to virtualized info centers contributes net energy savings by a factor of 10 across the economy. Read more here.
