Curved LCDs from AUO

AU Optronics has unveiled its new curved LCD display at SID 2008. that display is believed to be the first of its kind in the world, where a new thinning technique from the company enabled it to manufacture a display that has a radius of 100mm which arcs and has backlight across the entire display for easy viewing even in the dark. Guess we not only have odd-shaped LCD displays, they

plus come in curved mold factors these days. What are some of the uses of a curved LCD display that you would like to see? I think pillars in buildings will soon sport more interactive ads than mere posters with the proliferation of such a display.
