Of all science fiction novels ever written, “Neuromancer” screams loudest for a movie treatment. The groundbreaking novel by William Gibson involves, according to the Wikipedia:

“…tells the story of Case, an out-of-work computer hacker hired by a mysterious patron to participate in a seemingly impossible crime.
