Dell E Notebooks

Remember the ultra small Dell notebook? Well, apparently it will be known as the Dell E. That’s not too creative now, eee’s it? Still, there will be a couple of models under that banner with the 8.9″ version targeting extremely entry level users, while the larger 12.1″ E Slim will attempt to take on the MacBook Air market at just 0.8″ thin. The E will be out

that August, with the E Slim to follow slightly later. These devices already have successors, but Dell has not shed further light on what improvements we can expect so we’ll just have to wait until Q2 2009. Prices start from $299 upwards.
