Dell Energy Smart Vostro 410 Desktop

Dell announced their new Energy Smart Vostro 410 desktop PC that aims to satisfy environmentalists by including a bunch of energy-efficient initiatives for unprecedented customer savings. The Vostro 410 will retail from $599 upwards, and is tipped to save customers up to 47% in annual energy costs - although I think the real world figure would be much lower since marketing departments tend to skew documents by a whole lot in order to impress the masses. The Vostro 410 will reach in the US and

UK from tomorrow onwards, while those in Asua will have to wait till June 2 and the rest of the world for another three days. Among the specifications found on the Vostro V410 include :-

  • Intel Core 2 Quad processor
  • 512MB graphics card
  • 800MHz system memory
  • Large tower design for easy future expansion
