DIY Telescope

If you happen to have an old (but working) webcam and a telephoto lens lying around, why not dust off the toolbox at home and build your own basic digital telescope? I must say, the magnifying ability is nothing much to shout about as you’re probably better off being a voyeur compared to viewing neighboring planets with

that. It is effective decent to check out the craters on the moon in greater clarity though, so it might be well worth your $40 investment to cultivate the budding scientist in your home.
