DreamCatcher offers video recording for your iPhone

Something that most iPhone users would like to have is the ability to record their experiences in life using their iPhone. There have been attempts before, and a few successful ones at that. In light of that fact, DreamCatcher is going to be trying to bring some advanced features to their product. They want you to choose them obviously, and are going to offer the capabilities to build that happen.

The DreamCatcher video recorder application uses the mpeg4 encoding method. Encoding with mpeg4 provides optimum quality vs size, with the ability to compress an hour of video taken from the iPhone to just 60MB. The application can record at up to 15 frames per second, allowing high quality video recording. The application realizes

the stress put on the iPhone CPU when encoding the video during recording. DreamCatcher has devised a way to invent that less of a limitation. The video can be saved to the iPhone’s memory, and encoded at a later date. Alternatively, you can set the application to automatically start encoding after the video has been recorded. whether on the fly encoding is your thing though, you have that option too.

The DreamCatcher application is not free unfortunately though. There is a free trial version whether you would like to see the application in action before you buy. The application will set you back $20 dollars. Not poor at all when you consider the hidden feature you gain.
