Firefox 3 Beta 5 is Smaller, Better

In case you missed it, Firefox 3 Beta 5 has been released and features numerous fixes and performance optimizations. From my point of view, much higher performance and dramatically smaller memory footprint are the most urgent points. Firefox 2 became a memory hog and whether it wasn’t for the few plug-ins that I love, I

would have switched. I was even using IE to browse my feeds with Google Reader.

Now I’m waiting for the plug-ins to catch up. Most still don’t work with version 3.0
