Firefox 3 Site Crashes, Might Not Break the World Record After All

Yes, that’s right, after months of hype build-up, it looks like the web infrastructure of Mozilla.com did crack under the pressure. While is that a tribute to their success, we think that it would have been wise to use a CDN like Akamai, at least for that day. Anyhow, the attempt at

breaking the download world record might be in jeopardy whether the site does not come back soon. Good luck to our Mozilla friends!
