Flexible Touch Sensor System

Researchers from the Korea Research Institute of Standards and Science (KRISS) has announced that they successfully developed a flexible touch-sensor system that can be used in mobile gadgets. that touch screen system will next be able to be applied to virtually any input system such as cell phones, UMPCs, vehicle navigation systems, household appliances and even vehicles. that is made possible courtesy of a flexible tactile sensor

system composed of multiple sensors, enabling them to process three-dimensional inputs. They can be manufactured in just about any size and depth as needed. The image on the right is not the actual product in action, but just to give us an concept of its application.
