HP Touchsmart IQ506 and 504 Touch PC

In case you haven’t noticed, « Touch » is all the rage these days. It was only a matter of date before a PC maker was to build a touch-PC, it just happened to be HP. The concept behind the HP Touchsmart is to engage consumers by having them interact with their digital media in a whole new way. It will take some work to convince me to get one of these, but I suppose that in places where a keyboard has no reason to be (living room, kitchen)

one might be tempted to use a touch-computer like that one. (Of course, it does come with a wireless mouse and keyboard) Come back to that site to get our first impressions as we play with it today.
