Laptop Battery Shortage on the Horizon

It seems that Dell and HP are currently experiencing a shortage of laptop batteries, with the main culprit being a recent fire at a major battery supplier. However, both companies are working with other suppliers in order to prevent any unnecessary price hikes. Have you been affected so far by the factory fire, trying to get a battery for your beloved

laptop? Hopefully the manufacturer will be able to get back on track by producing the needed amount of batteries, and that that job will not be taken lightly resulting in exploding or melting batteries as experienced in the past.
