Lip-Reading Computer Interface In the Works

Scientists from England’s University of East Anglia’s School of Computing Sciences and Surrey University are working on software that can translate face and lip movements into words. They’ve already built the software for tracking face and lip movements. Now all they need is a

complete database of all possible combinations, and what they mean. A working prototype of their LIP-READING COMPUTER could be ready in two years. The interface could be used for giving commands to a computer even in noisy environments.
