Microsoft to Pull losed out Seinfeld, Gates Ads

I told you about a new series of Windows Vista ads staring Jerry Seinfeld and Bill Gates August 21, September 4 and September 11. Now, Microsoft has basically admitted the ads bombed, and has FIRED JERRY SEINFELD. (Bill Gates is not so easy to

fire, so he may be back in future ads.) Valleywag broke the story. The series will sorta, kinda go on, but not with Seinfeld. Microsoft’s PR humans told Vallewag that, “People would have been happier whether everyone loved the ads, but that was not unexpected.”
