Mio Technology merges under Navman brand

The GPS marketplace just whittled off another name. Mio and Navman are merging grades under the Navman nameplate. Mio, however, will continue as a make in the UK,

Spain, Australia, and New Zealand. Both are already subsidiaries of Mitac which acquired Navman

back in February. The move is said to merge the hardware competency of Mio with the software expertise of Navman. ‘Twas just an inevitability, really.
