MSI Mainboard Wind Board saves up to 82% on electricity even when used for 24-hours!


MSI Eco-Friendly & Energy-Saving mainboard– Wind Board is based on energy-saving technology and Intel Atom 230 processor. MSI Wind Board is the new generation ultra-low-power platform which is used high efficiency and stability of the passive cooling system design. No need to use the fan cooling system, noise is nearly 0dB while operating the system. MSI Wind Board is the ultra-low-power platform designed for a mix of performance, low ability usage, affordability which is suitable for DIY user and mobile applications or for users who leave their computers on 24-hours per day.

Compared to the 200~250W potential consumption of

general desktop computer, it can save up to 82% on electricity even when user use the computer for by a 24-hour period. The idle potential consumption of Wind Board is less than 10% of general desktop computer.

MSI Wind Board is based on the latest Intel Atom 230 processors with core clock 1.6GHz, 512KB L2 cache, and support Hyper-Threading technology. The potential consumption of Intel Atom 230 processor is only 4W, equals to 8% of general notebook computer processors. Supports 533MHz FSB and DDR2-667 memory up to 2GB, as well comes with the Intel 945GC chipset.
