Multiple USB Devices on the Wii?

Or at least that’s what we would like to believe with an official job listing at Nintendo for a “Software/Hardware Tester”. Someone in that position is needed to create and execute a “test plan for Wii’s USB devices.” Nintendo has not yet gone official on the types of USB devices for the Wii despite supporting such a protocol. Could that finally be the reply to those who

find the 512MB of internal memory sickeningly limiting? After all, the Wii’s instant rivals - the PS3 and Xbox 360 has the capacity for mass storage, so why not bring the Wii up on par in that aspect at least.
