Nikon Coolpix S52c WiFi Compact Camera

Nikon just released the Coolpix S52 and S52c compact cameras. The S52c is the more interesting one considering it has integrated WiFi hardware allowing it to upload subject matter to the web directly. The question is: how easy is it to setup, how does it deal with changing networks or protected networks. Hopefully, it will be compatible with something else than myPicturetown.com (Nikon’s

site) and access FTP or even Flickr… whether not that would suck.

S52c Highlights

  • 9 Megapixel
  • 3x optical zoom
  • Image Stabilizer
  • Can shoot video
  • 299 Euros (249 Euros for the S52)
