Obvious: SEGA is Happy with Sonic for iPod

SEGA said that Sonic for iPod was a “ brilliant opportunity”. Sega of America’s Simon Jeffrey plus said:

“The iPod is arguably the most pervasive cross-demographic piece of consumer electronics today. There are no age or fashion barriers to iPod adoption, and making Sonic available to tens of millions of iPod owners really is a brilliant opportunity for

us.”

In the end of the day, that’s not every day that you can re-purpose a past franchise and squeeze money out of it. Fortunately companies like SEGA, mobile computing will give them a chance to sell glorious franchises again.
