Pentagon’s ‘Gandalf’ Project Targets Phones

DARPA, the Pentagon’s well-funded research wing (which funded the invention of the Web, among other things) is working on a project code-named GANDALF, which would enable the

U.S. military to pinpoint the exact location of any cell phone and, presumably, blow away the person holding it. I want one.
