Pioneer has Firmware Update for AVIC F-Series Navigators

Pioneer’s AVIC F-Series navigators aren’t precisely problem free, and with the World Wide Web, it is pretty to read all the angsty comments and problems that crop up. Good thing Pioneer has the presence of mind to whip up a free firmware update that targets the US-based AVIC-F90BT, AVIC-F900BT and AVIC-F700BT. The update is said to “improve overall system performance and

resolve convinced software issues.” While the AVIC-F500BT does not require any upgrade, it is still advisable to apply the firmware update just to be on the safe side. Well, I would heed such advice from the manufacturer as it can’t get any worse, can it?
