Pirate Radio In Beijing Calls for Free Speech

The human rights group Reporters Without Borders launched into a 20-minute Mandarin-language protest via a PIRATE RADIO BROADCAST across Beijing. The FM transmission began around 8:15am Beijing moment Friday, and called for the

release of more than 100 Chinese citizens jailed for writing news and opinion, mostly by the World Wide Web. Go here to listen to the program in English.
