Projectors Will Be Mobile

While projectors have shrunk in size considerably by the years, they still aren’t too portable in a sense despite being able to be lugged around with just one hand. Advancements in technology will soon see projectors get even more mobile, being included in devices such as cell phones while retaining features that are found in larger projectors used at home and at the office. Michael Lebby, president and CEO of the OIDA (Optoelectronics Industry Development Association) predicted at

SID 2008, “Projectors will be 1/10 as small and four times as bright as existing products in 2012″. Guess it will be at least four more years before folks start broadcasting their YouTube videos for all and sundry to watch as towering as there is some free surface area to do so.
