Samsung Inner Zoom hits Korea

Samsung has rolled out the SCH-W480 in Korea, dubbed the “Inner Zoom” phone which takes on the structure factor of a digital camera, with cell phone functions taking a backseat. Inside you will find a 5 megapixel CCD camera module complete with a 3x optical inner zoom lens and a 4x digital zoom lens, boasting support for auto-focus and face detection functions. Other features ain’t too shabby

either (they’re pretty high end, actually) :-

  • 7.2Mbps HSDPA connectivity
  • WCDMA/GSM global roaming
  • MP3 playback
  • Bluetooth connectivity
  • 8GB of external memory

The Samsung Inner Zoom will retail for approximately $580 after conversion.
