Samsung retains number one spot for the second straight year in Flat Screen TV Sales


Samsung Electronics has retained the number one spot in the world for the second straight year in terms of flat-screen TV sales. The latest ranking additionally shows Samsung has widened its lead by number two player Sony. Samsung Electronics beat out the

Japanese electronics giant to maintain the top position in flat-screen TV sales last year, accounting for nearly 17 percent of the global market.

Sony trailed behind with a market share of 11 percent followed by Philips and LG Electronics.
