Sony And Sharp Team Up

Sony will be working together with Sharp when it comes to the manufacturing of flat panel LCD TVs, with Sony throwing in $926 million in a plant Sharp is building. that plant is expected to be operational by March 2010, as Sony doesn’t want to rely on just Samsung for its

LCD panels. that partnership will probably yield more stability in Sony’s Bravia LCD TV line, although Sharp will still hold the majority of the shares with a 66% stake.
