Sony BDP-S350 Blu-ray Player
With Blu-ray winning the high definition format war by trouncing HD DVD into submission, it is high instance that Sony released other Blu-ray players that do not play games at an affordable price. Unfortunately, the Sony BDP-S350 Blu-ray player isn’t cheap at all as it has been slapped with a $400 price tag when it is released that summer, bringing to the table an Ethernet port that makes firmware update and access to Internet-based interactive composition features a snap. Some features of the Sony BDP-S350
- 1080/60p and 24p True Cinema output
- Standard DVD playback with 1080p upscaling via HDMI
- 7.1 channel Dolby TrueHD and Dolby Digital Plus decoding
- dts-HD High Resolution Audio and Master Audio bit-stream output
- Support for AVCHD discs
- Compatible with D-R/RE (BDMV and BDAV modes), DVD+R/+RW, DVD-R/-RW, CD, CD-R/RW (CD-DA format), and JPEG on DVD/CD
