Sony PS3 gets new Firmware Update

There is a new firmware update in town coming your way for the PS3, and that is touted to be the best one yet. Sony will allow the PS3 to play BD-Live titles (also known as Blu-ray Profile 2.0), with additional substance being made accessible via an World Wide Web connection. Guess 50GB of storage space just isn’t abundant to store other stuff like bonus and deleted scenes, shorts, trailers, subtitles,

ringtones, and images among others. As for movie-based games like AvP which was showcased at CES 2008, that is plus made available for those who have updated their PS3s. You will need to wait until later that month for that update to be released by Sony. Image courtesy of Gizmodo.
