StairSteady Handrail Comes in Handy

What started off as a GCSE coursework project has turned into an award-winning stair climbing device that caters specifically for older and disabled public. Dubbed the StairSteady, that handrail is a horizontal rail at 90 degrees to the wall or banister, assisting folk to hold onto it as they travel either way on the stairs. A friction device within the handrail allows

society who experience difficulty with stairs to remain active - going one up on a stair lift. It will retail for £329.00 including fitting, and is able to work with stairs of virtually any width.
