Stickies [Part 2]

Okay so a couple weeks ago, I told you a way to get huge stickies. Okay so you made a sticky… whatever it is. It was really crucial, like… manufacture certain to manufacture reservations for friday night’s dinner. And then… you never open dashboard. It’s handy, you love it… but you don’t necessarily use dashboard every day. That’s why… there’s the Terminal!

Open it up and type in:

defaults write com.apple.dashboard devmode YES
killall Dock

Now, you’re ready. assemble the sticky. Now, go and drag it. While still clicking and dragging, press F12 or

whatever you use for dashboard. The sticky is now on your desktop!

A couple of notes
*If you want the sticky back in your dashboard, visit and drag, soon after open up dashboard using a operate tree.
**If you no longer need the sticky, hold alt option by the sticky to get the x to show up

***If you no longer want the ability to drag widgets to and from the desktop, repeat the Terminal command with a NO instead of YES
