Targus Portable Speaker Book

Targus has a new portable speaker design known as the Portable Speaker Book, targeting the growing MP3 market. It features 3.5mm audio input, making it compatible with not only your iPod, but notebooks as well as other generic MP3 players. The design is rather unorthodox, folding open like a book while looking like an Imperial Shuttle gone awry. It is powered by a quartet of AAA batteries, but you can additionally choose to use a

USB connection to do the job whenever it is hooked up to a desktop PC or notebook. The Targus Portable Speaker Book will be out that summer, incorporating NXT’s Balanced Radiator technology that supposedly offers a better dispersed sound. No notion on how much that will cost, but it shouldn’t be too expensive.
