U.S. Government Blocking Access to Chinese Sites

The Pentagon is reportedly blocking access to all sites based in China for all office of Defense computers, including those used by troops who may want to follow the Olympics. A spokesman responded with MEANINGLESS MILITARY MUMBO-JUMBO

, but the likely reason is that Pentagon protection experts fear infiltration by Chinese government crackers who gain access through doors opened by trojans downloaded invisibly when users visit web sites.
