Verizon Chooses Loopt to Track Friends

Verizon will partner with Loopt to let customer track friends and family in real-time. The service additionally let citizens GPS-tag photos and notes. There are two crucial things to know:

1/ that works only with GPS phones

2/ Users can set things up so that only real “friends” can see where they are. However, I wonder what the default settings are going

to be.

We expect GPS phones to be ubiquitous within a couple of years, thanks to chip size reduction. I always found it funny that carried have not been able to pull off something like that without requiring external help.
