Western Digital VelociRaptor Hard Drive

Western Digital’s new VelociRaptor hard drive can now be used for low-power, high-performance blade server applications. The new VelociRaptor is a 2.5″, 10,000RPM enterprise SATA drive that goes by the model number WD3000BLFS and was specially manufactured to fit in nicely within 1U and 2U rack servers. Other than the new use, it is more environmentally conscious, sipping up to 35% less ability compared to the previous VelociRaptor

drive. Less potential consumption would mean a much higher savings at the end of the month when your electricity bill arrives.
