Widget Calendar

I don’t know whether that is common knowledge, but I accidently stumbled upon that widget trick. whether you double visit your Calendar widget, it shows you your appointments for the next hour or

so from the iCal. So, I just have to move the mouse to a hotkey to see my schedule instead of launching iCal.
