Windows Coming to Low-Cost XO Laptop
Nicholas Negroponte, founder of the One Laptop Per Child project, has told news media that OLPC and Microsoft are working on a dual-boot XO laptop, able to run either Linux or Windows.
There had been speculation that two different XOs might be offered, one for each OS, but Negroponte said OLPC wants to do as Apple does, allowing a user to choose which OS to boot on the same machine.
