Zumobi’s “zooming” user interface and mobile widget platform for Windows Mobile handsets has just made the journey away from beta, where Version 1.0 comes with a slew of performance improvements, including better image rendering, quicker updating of composition, and a smaller installation file. Zumobi aims for their software to be a viable alternative to traditional Web browsers for cell phones, where a grid of 16 thumbnails are available for the user to navigate simply by zooming into a

quadrant and soon after again into a “tile”. These tiles are fully customizable, where you will be able to grab subject matter from Zumobi partners like AccuWeather.com, Amazon.com, The Associated Press, Flickr, MTV, and others.
